On June 15 - 17, 2021, the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board will be holding a Public Hearing for the Pine Point Mining Limited (PPML) - Land Use Permit and Water Licence Applications of the Confirmation and Exploration Program (MV2020L8-0012 MV2020C0017).

Please note: there is a separate Environmental Assessment proceeding for the Mining and Milling activities for PPML with the Mackenzie Valley Review Board (EA2021-01). This is not for the Environmental Assessment.

The Public Hearing will be held in Yellowknife at the Explorer Hotel, Kat A & B, from 9:00 am to 4:30pm. There is a possibility of evening sessions on Day 1 and Day 2, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, if needed. While this is both in-person and virtual, due to COVID restrictions, the numbers for in person will be limited. With this in mind, livestreaming will be available through Cabin Radio’s Facebook page, as well as on this post, below.
