​Complete an Environmental subsurface drilling program at Negus Point in Yellowknife (Parcels A, B and C, Lot 33, Group 964, Block 605 and Right of way in Yellowknife. Site is a Bulk Terminal), this August/September.

The Purpose of the subsurface drilling program is to asses soil and groundwater conditions beneath the site to determine if there are any impacts associated with past site activities.

Scope of the work for the Negus Point site is to consist of 30 test pits and up to 29 Boreholdes with soil samples take at varying depths to assess the characteristics of the soil. Monitoring wells will be installed in each of the borehole locations to assess and test the groundwater. The completion of the work is expected to take 16 days, working 8 to 12 hours each day.
