The continuous and ongoing operation and maintenance of the existing NWT Public Highway system whithin the permit area along the Liard Highway (NWT no7) between Km 0 (BC/NWT Border) and KM 254.1 (intersection with the Mackenzie Highway at Km 411.8) which includes the Community Access Roads for Fort Liard and Nahanni Butte.
