The Tibbitt to Contwoyto winter road provides an economical transportation route to active mines, and other operations north of Yellowknife. Det’on Cho RTL Construction currently holds a land use permit for this road, which is expiring this year, as well as a permit for the Tibbitt to Contwoyto Secondary Road, and the continuation of the road in Nunavut from Pellat Lake to Lupin and Jericho. Det’on Cho RTL Construction anticipates accessing this route to provide services such as winter road construction, maintenance, and freight and fuel delivery.
